Festa della Pipa di Cagli Celebrates Italian Pipe Tradition
Every year, the historic town of Cagli, in Italy’s Marche region, becomes a meeting place for artisans, collectors and enthusiasts from across Europe. The Festa della Pipa is now one of the most prestigious celebrations dedicated to the world of pipes, bringing together tradition, culture and craftsmanship in a setting of rare beauty.
Over three days, the town’s streets host exhibitions, demonstrations by master artisans, presentations by Italian makers, club gatherings, talks and countless opportunities to discover some of the world’s most renowned pipe workshops. More than a fair, Cagli offers a true immersion in the cultural heritage of the Italian pipe.
The 26th edition, taking place from 15 to 17 May 2026, reaffirms Cagli’s role as one of Europe’s great centres of pipe culture. The event pays tribute to the craftsmanship that has made Italy an international reference in pipe production, while bringing together different generations of smokers, collectors and makers.
For the Real Cachimbo Clube, the Festa della Pipa represents much more than an annual event. It is a testament to the fact that pipe culture remains a living expression of European culture, where art, history and fellowship come together to preserve a heritage that spans generations. Among Italian landscapes, centuries-old workshops and long conversations, Cagli reminds us that some traditions deserve to be experienced without haste.
